Nifty Things to do to Raise Friends and Funds

A good idea is to try and use the same theme for your fundraisers as the projects you are working on.

Examples:

• If you are working to raise money for the children at Family Village Farm, you may want to have a back-to-school sale. At this sale, you could sell used school clothes as well as school-related supplies such as old backpacks, purses, and lunch boxes or bags.
• If you decide to work on the project to raise money for Fill the Backpack, you may want to have a backpack sale.
• If you’re trying to help the kids at All People’s Center raise money for afterschool programs, you may want to stage an art show, a jump rope contest, or a baseball game.

As you can see the possibilities are endless!
