All Peoples Christian Center is in the middle of an area of Los Angeles, California where families have little money. Kids in the neighborhood come to All Peoples for many different reasons. They may need help with problems at home or at school. Sometimes they come because All Peoples is a safe place to hangout and have a good time talking with friends and doing fun activities. Many kids come to the after-school program so they can get help with their homework and in some cases, help with learning English. 

Your donations of supplies and money will really “add up” for the kids at All Peoples Christian Center.

What you can do:

Learn more about All Peoples Christian Center, an important mission of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Pray for kids who come to All Peoples Christian Center.

Have a program about All Peoples Christian Center and invite some adults to come and learn with you.

Collect and send supplies for art, school and physical activities.   

Think about the kinds of things you like and need as you decide what to send to the kids at All Peoples. Here is a list of some things suggested by the staff of All Peoples Christian Center:

• Arts and crafts supplies such as markers, construction paper, and glue.
• School supplies such as small calculators, pencils, paper, and erasers.
• Disposable cameras, balls, jump ropes and outdoor chalk.
